Education: Moline High School Graduated in May 2012 : College: Black Hawk College 2012-2014: I was working on a nursing degree and then decided to shift direction and start on my Medical Assistant Certificate: Will be going back this fall to finish my certificate and to start something new!
Employment History: Last two years in High School I worked with Bayside Smoothies & More at a concession stand at the Zoo and at the River Bandits making smoothies: In college August 2012 to February 2017 I worked at a Medical Office.
Salvation: I started coming to New Hope in November of 2011 after a Fall Funfest: I got plugged in the youth ministry and the young adults ministry: In February of 2012 I officially decided to say Yes to Jesus; I grew up going to churches but wasn’t old enough to make a decision to where I wanted to plug myself in. I felt loved and welcomed at New Hope and knew this was the place for me.
Fun Facts about Tanya:
– I don’t like Coffee: I love me some Tea! (But seriously Atomic Coffee Bar has the BEST White Chocolate Bliss: Yes, it has coffee, but oh well).
– I was born in Los Angeles, California.
– Parents are from El Salvador.
– I love working with kids!
– Maybe addicted to Snapchat, but how can’t you be with all the fun filters?
